The Argumentative

﴾ 1 ﴿ GOD (Ellahu) has (Qad') heard (Samiä) the statement (Qaw'la) of the one who (f) (Ellatii) argued with you (s) (Tujaadilu-ka) concerning (Fii) her husband (Zaw'ji-ha) as (Wa) she complained (Tash'takii) to GOD (ilaallahi). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) heard (Yas'mau) the discussion of you both (Tahaawura-kumaa). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is Hearing (Samiiu) and Seeing (Basiir).
﴾ 2 ﴿ Those (Ellaziina) among you (Minkum) who distinct (Yuzoahiruuna) from (Min) their women (wives) (Nisaai-him), they (Hunna) are not (Maa) their mothers (Ummahaati-him’). Their mothers (Ummahaatu-hum) are only (In' illa) those who (Ellaai) gave birth to them (Walad'na-hum’). And (Wa) indeed, they (Innahum) are (La) stating (Yaquuluuna) an abomination (Munkaran) of (Mina) statement (El'Qaw'li) and (Wa) falsehood (Zuuraa). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (La) Pardoning (Äfuwwun) and Forgiving (Gafuur).
﴾ 3 ﴿ As for (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) distinct (Yuzoahiruuna) from (Min) their wives (Nisaai-him) and then (Thumma) go back on what (Yauuduuna Limaa) they said (Qaalu'), hence (Fa) they shall free (Tah'riiru) a slave (Raqabatin) before (Min Qab'li) they can (An) touch each other (copulate) (Yatamaassaa). That (Zaalikum') is an admonishment (Tuuäzuuna) thereby (Bihi); and (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is conversant (Khabiir) with what (Bimaa) you do (Ta'maluuna).
﴾ 4 ﴿ And (Fa) whoever (Man) does not (Lam') find (Yajid'), then (Fa) fast (Siyaamu) for two months (Shah'rai'ni) consecutively (Mutataabiäi'ni) before (Min Qab'li) they can (An) touch each other (copulate) (Yatamaassa). And (Fa) whoever (Man) is not (Lam') able (Yas'tati'), then (Fa) the feeding (It'äämu) of sixty (Sittiina) poor people (Mis'kiinan). That (Zaalika) is so that (Li) you may believe (Tu'minu') in GOD (Billahi) and (Wa) HIS messenger (Rasuuli-hi); these (Til'ka) are the limits of GOD (Huduudu-llahi). And (Wa) the disbelievers will have (Lil' Kaafiriina) a painful (Aliim) punishment (Äzaabun).
﴾ 5 ﴿ Indeed (Inna), those who (Ellaziina) oppose GOD (Yuhaadduuna-llaha) and (Wa) HIS messenger (Rasuula-hu) will be suppressed (Kubitu') as (Kamaa) those (Ellaziina) before them (Min Qab'li-him) were suppressed (Kubita). And (Wa) We have (Qad') revealed (Anzal'naa) verses (Aayaati) as proofs (Bayyinaatin). And (Wa) the disbelievers will have (Lil' Kaafiriina) a humiliating (Muhiin) punishment (Äzaabun).
﴾ 6 ﴿ The day (Yaw'ma) GOD (Ellahu) will resurrect them (Yab'äthu-humu) all (Jamiiän) and (Fa) inform them (Yunabbiu-hum) of what (Bimaa) they have done (Ämiluu'). GOD (Ellahu) has counted it (Ah'soa-hu), while (Wa) they have forgotten it (Nasuu-hu). For (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is a witness (Shahiid) over (Älaa) all (Kulli) things (Shai'in).
﴾ 7 ﴿ Have you not (Alam') considered (Tara) that GOD (Annallaha) knows (Ya'lamu) whatever (Maa) is in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and whatever (Wamaa) is on earth (El'Ar'di)? There is no (Maa Yakuunu) secret conversation (Naj'waa) of (Min) three (Thaathatin) except (illa) HE (Huwa) is their fourth (Raabiu-hum), nor (Walaa) five (Kham'satin) except (illa) HE is their sixth (Saadisu-hum’), nor less (Ad'naa) than (Min) that (Zaalika), or (Walaa) more (Ak'thara) except (illa) HE (Huwa) is with them (Maähum) wherever (Ai'na Maa) they could be (Kaanu'). Then (Thumma) on the Day of Resurrection (Yaw'mal' Qiyaama), HE will inform them (Yunabbiu-hum) of what (Bimaa) they did (Ämilu'). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is aware of (Äliim Bi) all (Kulli) things (Shai'in).
﴾ 8 ﴿ Have you not (Alam') considered (Tara ilaa) those who (Ellaziina) were forbidden from (Nuhu' Äni) conspiracy (En'Naj'waa), then (Thumma) they returned (Yauuduuna) to what (Limaa) they were forbidden from (Nuhu' Än'hu) and (Wa) they conversed secretly among each other (Yatanaajaw'na) about sin 1 (Bil' Ith'mi), aggression 2 (El'Ud'waani) and (Wa) disobedience 3 (Ma'siyati) to the Messenger (Er'Rasuuli)? And (Wa) when (Izaa) they come to you (s) (Jaauu-ka) they greet you (Hayyaw'ka) by what (Bimaa Bihi) GOD (Ellahu) does not (Lam') greet you (Yuhayyi-ka), and (Wa) they say (Yaquuluuna) within (Fii) themselves (Anfusi-him’), "Why (Law') does GOD (Ellahu) not (Laa) punish us (Yuäzzibu-naa) for what (Bimaa) we say (Naquulu)?" Hell (Jahannamu) is sufficient for them (Has'bu-hum), they will burn therein (Yas'law'na-ha); and (Fa) wretched (Bi'sa) is the destiny (El'Masiir).
﴾ 9 ﴿ O you (Yaa Ayyuha) who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu'), when (Izaa) you converse secretly with each other (Tanaajai'tum), then (Fa) do not (Laa) converse secretly with each other (Tatanaajuw') about sin 1 (Bil' Ith'mi), aggression 2 (El'Ud'waani) and (Wa) disobedience 3 (Ma'siyati) to the Messenger (Er'Rasuuli) but (Wa) converse secretly with each other (Tanaajaw') about righteousness (Bil' Birri) and piousness (Ettaq'waa). And (Wa) beware of GOD (Ettaqu'llaha) to (ilai'hi) whom (Ellazii) you will be assembled (Tuh'sharuun).
﴾ 10 ﴿ Conspiracy (En'Naj'waa) is only (Innama) from (Mina) the devil (Es'Shai'toani) in order to (Li) grieve (Yah'zuna) those who (Ellaziina) have believed (Aamanu'), but (Wa) he (Satan) cannot (Lai'sa Bi) harm them (Doarri-him) at all (Shai'an) except (illa) by (Bi) the permission of GOD (Iz'ni-llahi). So let (Fal') the believers (El'Mu'minuun) rely (Yatawakkali) on GOD (Älaallahi).
﴾ 11 ﴿ O you (Yaa Ayyuha) who (Ellaziina) have believed (Aamanuu'), when (Izaa) you are told (Qiila La-kum), "Make space for each other (Tafassahu')” during (Fii) meetings (El'Majaalisi), then (Fa) make space (Ef'sahu'), GOD (Ellahu) will make space (Yaf'sahi) for you (Lakum). And (Wa) when (Izaa) you are told (Qiila), "Arise (Enshuzu'),” then (Fa) arise (Enshuzu’); GOD (Ellahu) will raise (Yar'fae) those who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu') among you (Minkum') as well as (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) have been given (Uutu') the knowledge (El' il'ma), in degrees (Darajaatin). For (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is conversant (Khabiir) with what (Bimaa) you do (Ta'maluuna).
﴾ 12 ﴿ O you (Yaa Ayyuha) who (Ellaziina) have believed (Aamanuu'), whenever (Izaa) you converse secretly with (Naajai'tumu) the Messenger (Er'Rasuula), then (Fa) present (Qaddimu') alms (9:103) (Sodaqatan) before (Bai'na Yadai') your secret conversation (Naj'waa-kum’). That (Zaalika) is better (Khai'run) for you (Lakum) and (Wa) purer (At'haru), but (Fa) if (In) you do not (Lam') find (Tajidu'), then (Fa) indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is Forgiving (Gafuurun) and Merciful (Rahiim).
﴾ 13 ﴿ Are you commiserating (A'ash'faq'tum) to (An) present (Tuqaddimu') charities (Sodaqaatin) before (Bai'na Yadai') your secret conversation (Naj'waa-kum’)? Therefore (Fa) when (Izaa) you do not (Lam' Taf'älu') and (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) has forgiven you (p) (Taaba Älai'kum), then (Fa) establish (Aqiimu') the Liturgy (Es'Solaata) and give (Aatu') the Charity (Ez'Zakaata) and obey GOD (Atiiu'llaha) and HIS messenger (Rasuula-hu). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is conversant (Khabiiru) with what (Bimaa) you do (Ta'maluun).
﴾ 14 ﴿ Have you not (Alam') considered (Tara ilaa) those who (Ellaziina) befriended (Tawallaw') a people (Qaw'man) with whom (Älai'him) GOD has been angry (Gadiba-llahu)? They (Hum) are neither (Maa) of you (Minkum) or (Walaa) of them (Min'hum), and (Wa) they swear (Yah'lifuuna) by (Älaa) falsehood (El'Kazibi) while (Wa) they (Hum) know (Ya'lamuun).
﴾ 15 ﴿ GOD has prepared (Aädda-llahu) for them (Lahum) a severe (Shadiida) punishment (Äzaaban). Indeed (Inna), evil (Saa'a) was what (Maa) they (Hum) have been (Kaanu') doing (Ya'maluun).
﴾ 16 ﴿ They took (Ettakhazuu') their oaths (Ai'maana-hum’) as a shield (63:2) (Junnatan), so (Fa) they turned away from (Soddu' Än) the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi), but (Fa) they will have (Lahum) a humiliating (Muhiin) punishment (Äzaabun).
﴾ 17 ﴿ Never (Lan) will their wealth (Am'waalu-hum) nor (Walaa) their children (Aw'laadu-hum) avail them (Tug'niya Än'hum) against GOD (Minallahi) at all (Shai'an). Those (U'laaika) are the companions (As'haabu) of the Fire (En'Naari); they (Hum) will be therein (Fiiha) eternally (Khaaliduun).
﴾ 18 ﴿ The day (Yaw'ma) GOD (Ellahu) will resurrect them (Yab'äthu-humu) all (Jamiiän), and (Fa) they (the hypocrites) will swear (Yah'lifuuna) to HIM (Lahu) as (Kama) they swear (Yah'lifuuna) to you (the believers) (Lakum) and (Wa) think (Yah'sabuuna) that they (Annahum) are upon (Älaa) something (Shai'in). Verily (Alaa) indeed (Innahum), they (Humu) are the liars (El'Kaazibuun).
﴾ 19 ﴿ The devil (Es'Shai'toanu) has possessed them (Es'tah'waza Älai'himu), so (Fa) he made them forget (Ansaa-hum’) the remembrance of GOD (Zik'ra-llahi). Those (U'laaika) are the party (Hiz'bu) of the devil (Es'Shai'toani). Verily (Alaa) indeed (Inna), the party (Hiz'ba) of the devil (Es'Shai'toani); they (Humu) are the losers (El’Khaasiruun).
﴾ 20 ﴿ Indeed (Inna), those who (Ellaziina) oppose GOD (Yuhaadduuna-llaha) and (Wa) HIS messenger (Rasuula-hu); those (U'laaika) will be among (Fii) the humiliated (El'Azalliin).
﴾ 21 ﴿ GOD has decreed (Kataba-llahu), "I (Ana') and (Wa) MY messengers (Rusulii) will (La) overcome (Ag'libanna)." Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is Powerful (Qawiyyun) and Almighty (Äziiz).
﴾ 22 ﴿ You will not (Laa) find (Tajidu) a people (Qaw'man) who believe (Yu'minuuna) in GOD (Billahi) and (Wa) the Last Day (El'Yaw'mil' Aakhiri) befriending (Yuwaadduuna) those who (Man') oppose (Haadda) GOD (Ellaha) and (Wa) HIS messenger (Rasuula-hu), even if (Walaw') they were (Kaanuu') their fathers 1 (Aabaa'a-hum') or (Aw') their sons 2 (Ab'naa'a-hum') or their brothers 3 (Ikh'waana-hum') or their tribe 4 (Äshiirata-hum'). Those are the ones (U'laaika) in (Fii) whose hearts (Quluubi-himu) HE has decreed (Kataba) the faith (El' iimaana) and (Wa) supported them (Ayyada-hum) with (Bi) a spirit (Ruuhin) from HIM (Min'hu). And (Wa) HE will admit them (Yud'khilu-hum') into gardens (Jannaatin) beneath which (Min Tah'ti-haa) rivers (El'An'haaru) flow (Taj'rii); eternally (Khaalidiina) therein (Fiiha). GOD is pleased with them (Radiya-llahu Än'hum'), and they are pleased with HIM (Radu' Än'hu); those (U'laaika) are the party of GOD (Hiz'bu-llahi). Verily (Alaa) indeed (Inna), the party of GOD (Hiz'ba-llahi); they (Humu) are the successful (El’Muf'lihuun).
